I have had several e-mails from letterboxers that were sent through
LbNA. The problem is there is nothing to tell me which letterbox they
are writing about.
I thought the letterbox name used to be in the subject line when I
received updates. But now it's not.
Has something changed?
It's really frustrating to get a "I couldn't find the letterbox, is it
still there?" message and have no idea which one of my plants they are
talking about.

The subject of an LbNA contact is whatever the member enters. You should see a reference to the clue page that they were viewing in the body of the email after "This message is sent in regards to this page:".

I just got an e-mail re: one of my boxes, and the subject was the name of the box, but there was no information in the text of the e-mail saying (like it usually would) this message was sent regarding X page.
hmm...

Could you forward that e-mail to me (john@johnsblog.com)? I just tried status change and contact the placer and both messages that I received included the reference page. I must be missing something. :o)

This problem is even more compounded when the update refers to a
series of letterboxes. The link sends you to the clue page but it
doesn't mention which particular letterbox in the series to which
the letterboxer refers in their comments. Is there a way to further
specify to which specific letterbox in a series the 'contactor'
refers? That would make life much easier for the planters of many
boxes/series of boxes out there. I have one 'multi-box' series in
particular that often experiences this problem--it involves 6 boxes
and rarely, if ever, do visitors specify which letterbox they
visited or failed to find in their comments to me. At some point in
the future, I figure I'll go separate and individually list all
these multi-box series to avoid this problem in the future.

It's possible. It would be a significant upgrade to LbNA. I'll talk to the other webmasters about it.
